SL62 reinforcing mesh is a square, welded steel reinforcing fabric supplied in a 5.8m x 2.4m sheet. Made to Australian Standard AS/NZS 4671 from 500 MPa steel, it is used to reinforce concrete slabs, driveways, paths, and footings, helping control cracking and distribute load across the pour.
The bars are welded in a square 200mm x 200mm grid, giving even reinforcement in both directions. SL62 is the lighter gauge in the SL range, well suited to residential slabs, paths, and lighter duty concrete work.
Also known as F62 mesh, it lays flat and is easy to position on bar chairs to achieve the correct concrete cover. A dependable, standards compliant choice for a wide range of concreting projects.
