Blended topsoil is an ideal mixture of two different types of soil, namely sandy loam and clay loam. Sandy loam is typically light, airy, and drains well, while clay loam has better nutrient retention but may be heavier and less well-draining. By combining these two soils, we achieve an excellent balance between the lightness and drainage of sandy loam and the nutrient-rich, water-retaining properties of clay loam. This blend offers high quality soil characteristics without sacrificing cost-effectiveness.
Blended topsoil is versatile and can be used wherever soil is required. It is often the preferred choice of landscapers and contractors when they need substantial quantities of soil. Moreover, blended topsoil is ideal for planting native plants, providing a well-balanced environment for their growth and development.
Note: Not recommended for top dressing. Use turf sand or washed sand.
